Got quotes for a job?
Put your quotes side by side before you say yes.
My Home lines written quotes up against your budget, flags VAT that hasn’t been confirmed, and shows what you still need to save before the work starts.
No card for the trial. It never turns into a payment by itself.

Compare like with like
The cheapest quote isn’t always the cheapest job.
Keep notes on each quote so you can see what’s really included. These are the questions worth asking every supplier.
- 01
Is it for the same work?
Ask each supplier to quote against the same list, so the totals mean the same thing.
- 02
Is VAT included?
A quote without VAT can look lower than it is. My Home flags any quote where it isn’t confirmed.
- 03
What’s excluded?
Waste removal, making good and materials are common gaps.
- 04
How are payments staged?
Note the deposit and when each payment falls due.
- 05
What guarantee comes with it?
Write down the length and what it covers.

Then plan the money
Know when you can afford to book it.
Add a contingency, what you’ve already saved and what you can put away each month. My Home shows the gap and when you’ll close it. Started from a Costwise price guide? Link it to the project and keep its estimate in the notes.
And once the work is done, the rest of the house.
Reminders that come to you

Questions
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged. Choose £4.99 a month or £39 a year to keep editing. If you don’t, you can still sign in and download what you added.
Do I need My Home to use the cost guides?
No. Every Costwise guide and calculator stays free and works without an account.
Who can see my information?
It isn’t shared with installers, affiliates or advertisers, and you can delete your account at any time. The privacy notice lists the providers that run the service.
Can I upload quote documents?
Not yet. You can record each quote’s amount, VAT status and notes on what’s included. A home file lists the certificates and guarantees you keep, and where.
